In the absence of any flight time recently, I've been going through some pictures and video files that I've collected over time. Here, C-GKBW (naturally) gets airborne from Saganaga Lake. Sapawe Air hauled me to Mack Lake again this summer, resulting in a great view of my neighborhood from above. Also flew the 182 with Dan north from Devil's Track Lake and explored Saganaga Lake and Northern Lights Lake from a low altitude, with a few touch and go's to keep things interesting. This past summer brought me to Sky Harbor many times, and Kita and I spent lots of hours checking out the familiar residents of the flight line. We touched down at Wipaire again this fall and visited a few Beavers there, a couple of which were trading their radials for turbines. As the time of year rolls around when snow and cold are right around the corner, and many folks are swapping their floats for skis, let's recall some spectacular hours in the air and on the water...
